
Regional Rail Working Group
We are committed to enhancing rail safety and development in the region through the establishment of the Regional Rail Working Group. This initiative brings together local governments, rail operators, regulatory agencies, and emergency services to collaborate on safety challenges and development opportunities in response to the growing rail activity fueled by regional economic growth.
Key Objectives of the Working Group:
Foster Collaboration
Strengthen partnerships between various stakeholders, including local governments, rail operators, regulatory agencies, and emergency services.
Enhance Rail Safety
Regularly assess safety risks, improve infrastructure, and establish standardized emergency response protocols for better regional preparedness.
Address impacts
& concerns
Develop strategies to minimize the impacts of rail activity, such as traffic at crossings, noise, and other quality-of-life concerns.
