Household Hazardous Waste & Computer Recycling
HHW accepted year round, 6 days a week, during regular operating hours at the Public Drop Off at Crane Mountain Landfill
No Charge for HHW. Household materials only, no commercial, institutional or industrial hazardous materials are accepted.
We are now an electronics depot. You can bring old computers, TVs, stereos along with their various attachments for recycling. We accept all items that are part of the electronics recycling program for a full list of items visit recyclemyelectronics.ca
HHW is any harmful substance that is considered corrosive, toxic, flammable, or reactive. See the list below for examples of items you may find around your house. Please do not dispose of any hazardous items in your regular garbage or down the drain.

Computers, TVs, VCRs, and Other Electronics
Electronics such as TVs, VCRs, Computers and more can be recycled at our household hazardous waste depot or other local depots such as: the ReStore on Rothesay Ave, The KV Bottle Redemption Centre, and the Golden Mile Redemption Centre on Fairville Blvd. There is no charge for this program. Paint Recycling
You can also bring your leftover Paint to a local Depot in your neighbourhood or to our HHW facility. For locations near you visit RecycleNB.com

Quispamsis: Valley Redemption Center, 1 Market St (beside the Co-Op).
Battery Recycling
All Batteries are recyclable. Return dead batteries to the HHW Depot at Crane Mountain Landfill or to one of the following stores:

- Staples

Compact fluorescent light bulbs and fluorescent tubes are accepted at our Household Hazardous Waste Facility.
Motor Oil & Glycol
Used motor oil and glycol (coolant), along with their empty containers, can be taken to facilities throughout the region. These products are also accepted at the HHW Facililty at Crane Mountain. There is no charge for this program.
